There were many situations that took place that caused Tahiera to have to step away from her dreams. First as a young adult, she wanted to sing, but as so many women did back in those days, Tahiera became a young mother and got married to a husband that did not support the arts are her dreams. Later, as she was writing scripts for stage, she was divorcing her husband, when her stepfather died in a car accident and soon afterwards, her mother passed away.
Tahiera found herself caught in the system of helping her younger siblings and a whole list of things she would prefer not to mention here. But, Tahiera never gave up on the dreams that lingered in her heart.
Now in her sixties, she has found the path to create and fulfill her dreams with people who are artists in their own rights. Together they’re working to create stories, a talk show, sizzle reels for a film Tahiera is producing and it’s her voice that’s in the background. She writes and sings the songs to help tell her stories.
Of course, they say “Nothing comes to dreamers but a dream”. But dreamers with faith and a sure path can and do see their dreams come true.
