When I first met Bruce Nix, in my home almost 15 years ago, he was very quiet and seemed a bit shy. But, I felt in my gut that this man was a genuine genius. I told my husband that I wanted to work with Bruce to produce my life story. But, my husband had other people in mind.
For several years after that Bruce came to my home with reporters from ABC33/40 to interview me about my story. Finally in 2015, when I did the KENT STEWART interview for ALABAMA TV, Bruce recorded the episode. On that day, he knew he wanted to work for certain with me. I offered him a challenge to do something totally out of his comfort zone … direct my talk show and direct my movie.
It took about ten years for my vision to work with Bruce to be realized. The rest is history as we’re working diligently to fulfill the dream in our movie, “The Prayer”.
